I’ve been discovering lately that Christ and conversations mix particularly well. Although I have, in the past, considered conversations on spiritual matters to be tiresome and taxing, such discussions with another over a cup of coffee have recently risen to become one of the most enjoyable ways for me to pass the time.

And why shouldn’t it be? Discussing the power, gracefulness and loving discipline of the Creator of the Universe is a pretty exciting topic for me. Because while spending time with God is vitally important for my walk, it’s also good to take what I’m learning during that time and share it with others. It serves as both an encouragement to them and a way for me to grow by explaining and getting feedback what have been previously only been inner thoughts.

There’s something about voicing a thought that gives it power and substance. Somehow the simple vocalization of an idea makes it real.
